Cilantro!

OMG....I keep finding all these incredible smells in the garden.  I just want to roll and roll and roll

Freddie's Mom here:  I was wondering why my cilantro plants were growing so poorly.

 

Hi, Brett!

I feel pretty honoured.  I had a visit from someone who reads this blog!

That's Brett holding me.  No kidding.  He's really nice.

I apologize for being quite fussy at the time.  I thought maybe he was a vet or somebody going to do some invasive thing or another to me.

Brett's mother, Dianne, is the lady in the hat.  She's my mom's friend - they grew up together.

Pretty neat, huh!  I think so.

Such a nice morning!  I felt like running around.

Hey, Cat!

We had a yard full of birds for a few days, mostly these noisy, orange-eating, show-off Baltimore Orioles

 

Might not be able to see them, but I can hear perfectly well, and I know they are right above me.

Then, I heard a tweety  "Hey, Cat!  What are you doing?....."  

Rose-breasted Grosbeaks can be such jerks

I'd be up that tree in a minute if I didn't have this dumb leash.

 

Next time, bird.

Life is Good

What could be better than sunbeams and bed of fresh catnip?

Sometimes a bird or something flies over and disturbs me...just a little.

Mostly though, it is quiet outside this morning.

Rolling Around in the Dirt

Well, finally....the air is warm, the ground is dry and I can roll around in the dirt.

Learning to do more things every day.

Sunny Afternoon

What a nice day we had yesterday.  The sun was shining but also quite windy.  Mom fixed me up a spot to rest out in the backyard.

The ground is a little cold yet so she hauled out the old quilt from the shed.

She thinks the shaved bit at the back of my head might get sunburned.

I do get a little bored, though

Nothing to do but listen to things....it is kind of quiet where we live

There were Snow Geese flying over all day....can't see 'em but I can hear something noisy somewhere above me.

I'm told this is a really nice pic of the apple tree branches

She's quite a nice person, she looks after me very well, but she's never been much of a photgrapher, just sayin'....
