Today, Dante's lesson is on Cat Wisdom:
Oh man, I just LOVE plastic bags.
I love my fuzzy friend Teddy.
We have some great times together. Mom says he can come along when we go to Arizona.
Watch my video, please & thanks!
What the....??? This drawer broke all by itself.
And, no, the vet did not say I was fat! I just have fatty deposits in my tummy, some clustering around my incision scar...a lot of girl cats are like this, right? Besides, I haven't been up to my usual 200% active self this past week. Cripes! Today is the first day in a long time my mom has played fetch with me on the basement stairs. I ran down and up 17 times - and brought my toy mouse back to her feet every time!
Happy Valentine's Day, Everybody!!!
This is Abby. She is very much loved by our friends Brett & Kirby. She is the oldest of their four feline kids. They all live in Saskatoon, SK.
Brett writes:
Abby came to us seven years ago on Valentine's Day. She was rescued one Christmas Eve on an acreage luckily owned by a veterinary assistant who nursed her to health. We think she was around 4 years old at the time, which puts her at about 11 years old now. While Abby was'lost', she developed a bad case of ear mites that bored a hole between her ear canal and sinus. she is a very, very snotty girl thus. But we love her and she is very, very loving in return.
Abby reminds us that Valentine's Day is about loving all that is good in the world.
Abby is the best Valentine's Day present we have ever had!!! I just love her face.
Okay, everyone.....feel sorry for me.
I had an awful day yesterday. I should have known something was up when I wasn't allowed to have any food for a very, very long time!
We went for a little drive and then she left me there! This is what happened. I wasn't drunk, I swear, it. I don't think there's a tattoo anywhere.
Seriously, though, here's my surgery scar.
There's two places on my neck where the fur is shaved, also on my leg (where the IV was) and almost my entire underneath parts! Chilly!
I guess I was pretty groggy when I came home yesterday afternoon. I had a good sleep; I feel pretty much back to normal today. Really, I do.
If I just knew how to use the phone and make goldfishtinis...
I don't know who to credit for this cartoon. Sorry.
Thanks, Brett, for sending it to me.
It isn't very classy. It isn't very comfortable, either. But, this crate IS where the sunbeam is.
I have a new favourite thing to do - when I'm allowed to be up on the kitchen counter. Usually I get put down on the floor again pronto. But sometimes around dishwashing time, I help a little.
